Women are growing their participation in winning the Nobel Prize, however not as much as one might think given women's new roles.
Since 2015, women have won 11.7% of the Nobel Prizes. It is unclear that women's roles will increase. Something to consider is that that nearly all of the female Nobel Prize winners are from European or European-based countries. Women in these countries already enjoy equality.
